Connecting Souls, Renewing Spirits

What is the Umrah?

Umrah is a pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, which can be undertaken at any time of the year, unlike Hajj, which has specific dates according to the Islamic lunar calendar. While Hajj is obligatory for every able-bodied Muslim who can afford it at least once in their lifetime, Umrah is a voluntary act of worship that holds great significance in Islam. Umrah involves performing a set of religious rituals including Tawaf (circumambulation) around the Kaaba, Sa’i (walking between the hills of Safa and Marwa), and other acts of worship. It is considered a deeply spiritual journey for Muslims seeking closeness to Allah and purification of the soul.
